Masc/aura is a DTC (Direct to Consumer) brick and mortar store in Richmond, Virginia that curates a neutral toned/clean makeup that accentuates our key consumers features and align with our consumers aesthetics.

Our mission is to create a sense of belonging in a highly saturated industry that may not represent all.

“For Masc women, queer expression, and everybody outside of the beauty convo” is our unique value proposition where we curate our products from queer owned businesses and allied partners.

At masc/aura we carry both makeup and cosmetics as well as skincare. Aligning and curating products to our consumers is our key goal where we want to accentuate features without all the glam.
masc/aura will be prioritizing suppliers and brands who are queer-owned such as Well People, About Face, and Jecca Blec. We also carry E.L.F., NYX, Goodlight, Mob Beauty, Cosrx, and many more!
What makes us different is our marketing and business strategy with a key focus in our community. Our products will be measured through a 54% sell through rate to calculate brand alignment, while our marketing is created through our community. From branding to selling point, we shape our model through our consumers with in-house campaigns using local talent, community based events, and our business model.
